I was hesitant to use plastic to store water. First I ordered a glass bottle. But this one is much smaller and leaks easily. Also, he has no straw. My friend ordered one of these and I kept stealing his water from him. So I figured I'd better get one of my own. I'm glad I did. Measurements help me drink water more often. So I'm not dehydrated like I was. I'm not one of those people who gets very thirsty, so I forget to drink water. That's quite a lot, so as long as I'm drinking once a day I'm fine, but if I can drink twice a day that's even better. My friend has almost stopped drinking water, I think he consumes up to three such drinks a day. Water tastes great even after standing for a long time. We have a professional water treatment plant. Water still tastes great even days after it has been left standing for a long time. In fact we ordered a few pieces which were in different parts of the house. So we always drink water. We also ordered for children. I recommend it. For us it was leakage protection. Even upside down. It also never smells in the bottle. There really is no need to wash it often. I wash it occasionally, but I've noticed that the inside of the bottle never smells. Either way, this is kind of an epically long throwback. I've spent a lot of time researching this and I just want to take the time to share my experience. I hope this helps someone else and makes someone's life a little easier to make a decision.
