The desk does what I need to do, which is to move my printer away from my main work station. Beware. the rod that holds everything is not screwed into the table or the base. It just slides into the given space. Because of this, it will vibrate and move. It's really not stable in general. I have it in the corner with a table on either side, so it doesn't wobble when I'm typing. But if you want to use this in an open space where you can lean on it, or if it has an uneven balance of items, I wouldn't buy it.
