Review for: Jr. fish, Red trout, Jr. bone and Jr. PteradactylThese have held up really well – two months now since they got the fish and trout. The problem for my 12 and 22 pound dogs are the squeakers. The covers are thick and stiff and the squeakers unusually small. As hard as they try, it’s almost impossible for them to get noise out of them. I don’t get a decent squeak out of most of them myself. So, though they like them, they never got quite as excited as they have with some other new toys. Certainly part of the reason for the longevity is they don’t stay engaged as long when playing on their own. However, plush animals are about the only thing they like to play fetch with and the density of these make them good to throw. Having long-lasting toys for fetch and tug of war is well worth it.
