I had no experience with a spray gun before so it was very easy to spray my bookshelves with this gun. The guide to thinning the paint and choosing the right nozzle for my bookshelves was helpful. With a little help from a few DIY YouTube videos I decided to give this airbrush a try and I'm glad I did. It took several shifts and 5 days, but it was worth it. The finished product looks fantastic! Note that the weapon may "splash" after each use. It is important to constantly wipe the nozzle to prevent this. It's also important to make sure there are no crackers or splinters in the bottle as this can clog the gun. Just buy a paper strainer from your home store and you don't have to worry about filtering. Especially if the paint can is old and maybe has been standing for a while. Cleaning the gun was also fairly easy. I used soap and water, the brush and needle from the kit, and a wire brush to remove the paint. I used this spray gun to paint a room. Made it quick and easy.
