These salt and pepper shakers are of a much better quality than those sold in discount stores. I was a bit skeptical about buying them without seeing them first, but I don't regret it. The lid actually says "stainless steel" and overall the product is quite heavy, leading me to believe the glass is thick and will hold a pretty good drop. They make me think of what you might see on a table in an old diner or something. The price might seem a bit steep, but with free shipping with Revain Prime, it makes sense.
