Easing ganglion recovery

I have been dealing with a ganglion cyst recurring after surgery about 6 weeks ago. Unfortunately it's on the bottom of my foot & the surgeon went through the top of my foot. Orthopedic taping, wrapping, being stuck in a boot, on a knee scooter. I decided I needed to try some compression socks during the day (beneath my warm socks!). They feel great during long days at school, less fidgety, less pain in general. I do not wear them at night.My only complaint is that the material is wearing on the bottom already.I bought them about 10 days ago and I'm not even active right now so I'm not sure why that is happening?
