This product has a powerful fan with a set of movable vents that move air more easily. It has casters for easy rolling, so it can be moved to different places. The "cooling" function is a bit disappointing. You fill the tub with chilled cold tap water or chilled cold tap water and an ice mix. You can feel the change. You feel coolness in the air coming out of the device. This is very temporary though, it has a pump that draws water into the filter and then back into the tank like a faucet. Therefore, only keep water and ice ready for a short time, no more than 15 minutes. After that, you really have to sit up front to feel any kind of coolness. My husband likes it and thinks the benefits are worth pursuing. I'm not sure how it could (or could) work any other way, but if the water didn't flow back into the 'cold' ice bucket and pour over the ice as quickly, it would last longer and you could have longer chill times . Even with frozen bags thawing at the same time, I think it's like putting them under the faucet and expecting the ice to stay. It's not going to happen! But my husband loves it!
