Before it was Cooler Master V8 - the same passport 180W dissipation, but huge and more expensive. I can’t compare, because I took different stones for a light (Chinese) upgrade of the system. I chose the SE-224-XT because of the price (about 1500r) and positive reviews. By cooler: easy to assemble and install. The fan hangs quite high, the RAM does not cling. On the China-Zeon 2678 (TDP 120w), with the included paste, idle is about 980 RPM and averages 32 degrees. In Aida's half-hour stress test with turbo boost unlocked, no more than 60 degrees. on the cores and the same 980 RPM, because the motherboard saw no reason to increase the speed. According to the cooler's passport - a maximum of 1800 RPM, but so far I have not heard of its acceleration, and I see no point in winding it up manually. For the money - an excellent cooler, set and forget. But for hot and overclocked systems, look for something less than fifteen hundred. It withstands the Chinese 12-core without effort.
In addition to my thoughts, I've included some pictures that depict the highlights of my experience.
