Easy DIY laundry detergent for very sensitive skin (see below)

I make my own laundry detergent using this brand of washing soda and just two other ingredients. I share the formula in this review. It's easy - just three ingredients and inexpensive. This is for people with very sensitive skin, such as B. People with autoimmune problems, etc. One caveat: this is not for laundry with heavy stains, e.g. B. engine oil, but for normal laundry with light to medium stains. For heavy soiling, I recommend treating the stains with vinegar first. Also note: never use borax or two popular brands of castile soap as they can irritate sensitive skin. Also, wear a face mask when working with baking soda to avoid inhaling particles. Have a large screw-top plastic or glass container ready for storing detergent, a one-cup measuring bowl, and a cheese grater. . If you buy a 5 lb bag of laundry soda, also buy 5 lbs of pure baking soda (I use Arm & Hammer). If you're buying a 10 lb bag of washing soda, buy a 10 lb pure baking soda, that's always a 1 to 1 ratio. Pour 3 cups of washing soda (with the label on the face included) into the container, then 3 cups of pure baking soda in the container. Then, using a cheese grater, grate 1 bar of Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing "soapโ€ into the container. Finally, scoop up 2 more cups of washing soda and 2 more cups of baking soda. Close the container tightly and turn it upside down several times to distribute the 3 ingredients inside. Regardless of whether you use a top-loading or front-loading washing machine, the process is the same. Use 1/2 cup DIY laundry detergent per load. Load half the clothes, shake half a cup over the clothes. Load the rest of the clothing, then pour the remaining 1/2 cup over the clothing. I hope my homemade detergent works for you as well as it did for me.
