This dress, although pretty, doesn't work for me. It doesn't feel rough but it's not soft either. Cute design but the fabric clings to your bottom and is revealing. I don't like that at all. I took 2 pics of the back, the first without a girdle and and the 2nd with. You can hardly tell the difference. I'm 5'9" 170 lbs and this is a large. I wear size 12 in dresses and jeans. You can see my panty line, even with the girdle on and I can't stand that. Maybe that is how the dress is supposed to fit, revealing in the bottom, but that is not my style. The top fits fine, just the butt area is a problem.
