First off, I'm 5'9", 180 lbs, 42" chest (here for context). This robe is too big. Ok this is a robe so off the shoulders I can live with that, my biggest gripe is the sleeves. These huge diameter sleeves might fit an ascetic or monk or someone who has others serving them. I wear this garment most mornings, which for me includes using my hands and arms in the kitchen around dishes and faucets. Let's just say normal functioning is a challenge, these monk sleeves will catch and drop hot spatulas from the stove, pulling any food or liquid you might want to enjoy that tends to get in the way if you make a mistake using it of your arms. The huge diameter is shoulder-length, allowing the armpit to reach my waist, making it impossible to roll up to or over your hands. shoulder if you want them out of the way. Philosophers say "Upon the boner is the way," which would make this robe a great tool to keep adepts from doing nothing. I haven't arrived yet. I do not recommend.
