Review on PS Vita 1000 Series Protective Hard Case - Black Aluminum Metal Cover with Oval Start & Select Button Compatibility (Not for PSV 2000 Slim Version) by Justin Metz

First of all I don't think this item is aluminum. I've bought aluminum cases for my Dsi XL and 3DS in the past, both cost the same, and you can clearly feel the cool aluminum and rugged nature. This item appears to be plastic with perhaps a thin aluminum coating on the front. The back and side panels are made entirely of plastic. It doesn't close completely at the top, there are some annoying ridges on either side of the center of the bodice where the front and back meet. It's also a bit difficult to press the volume buttons. Plus, it looks and feels great on the Vita and does the job of protecting the device, at least cosmetically. I'm a little disappointed, but overall I still think it's a good buy for less than $10 (I bought it for $8).
