Too bulky and with sharp edges. My old case was a lot thicker, but this one is kinda hard on the memory bay and is interfering with some of the buttons. First of all I don't think this item is aluminum. I've bought aluminum cases for my Dsi XL and 3DS in the past, both cost the same, and you can clearly feel the cool aluminum and rugged nature. This item appears to be plastic with perhaps a thin aluminum coating on the front. The back and side panels are made entirely of plastic. Read the second paragraph for more information. I first bought a rubberized Horri PS Vita case. It had flaws, like obscuring the notification LED on the whorl. Then I buy a Horri bar on a suitcase with a stand, the stand function was cool. The housing did not cover the LED. But its shortcomings were the lack of protection for the front of the Vita and it left scratches on the back panel at the mounting point.
