This is exactly what I was looking for - just a soft subdued light for dark rooms. The square shape also looks pretty cool in the dark. They are not very bright which is perfect for the application I wanted. I have others that come with motion sensors and are brighter in various places, but this is just a nice dim light to guide you in the dark. I will probably buy more of these! Perfect for bedrooms where I don't want to get caught. in the light, but still don't want complete darkness. I like that they're dimmable, but that's not critical for me - the dimming range is still fairly limited, but that's normal. Auto on and off at night is great. They take up the bottom half of the socket, but that's the price you pay for any night light. Good value for money!
