This is awesome. We bought ours about 3 months ago for our cat before we went on a 5 day trip out of town. The first time I turned it on, my cat found it interesting and wasn't shy about drinking out of it right away.This ensures the water stays fresh without having to ask someone to come by and refill the water dish. It is very important to keep it clean. I clean mine every three weeks. If you have multiple animals sharing it, you may need to clean it more. Cat hair will get in the water and catch on the pump. But not a big deal if you take care of it.All and all, I would recommend this and buy another if I had too.
