I have this in my RV over my gas stove. So far, so good. This device worked well for many months until it broke. Woke me up in the middle of the night with a reading of 5. I have two other 200 square foot gas detectors and they didn't come on. I disabled this to try and reset it. Plugged it in two different places and it wouldn't stop turning off. In the end I just had to turn it off and not use it. Luckily I have two more detectors.
