It would be nice if the kit included an adapter that connects to a standard garden hose but the adapter isn't heavy to get . The rest works great! I have a reverse osmosis filter in my garage that fills a 55g drum. I use this to make salt water for my tank, add fresh water that evaporates from the same tank and I use it as a colorless rinse after washing my cars. I used to fill 5 gram buckets and carry water. Splashing buckets of water on a car sucks. Now I connect this pump to my drum, hook it up to a hose, turn on the pump and it pumps water into my fish tank or even through a regular garden hose and spray nozzle to wash my car. I really can't tell the difference between the water pressure in my city water supply and the pressure of this thing pumping water out of my drum. The pump is pretty quiet and I like that it shuts off when the pressure in the hose gets high enough. I can just close the nozzle on the hose and the pump will turn off. I've only been using it for a week, let's see how long it lasts.
