They are in. for computer components

I used 3 of these fans to replace the top 3 fans in a gaming PC. 2 in front, 3 on top and one in back. The original RGB top fans tended to wobble and make noise. The front one was already disabled, and then the second one started making noise. 2 years ago. I wanted to use some rubber mounting gizmos but couldn't find any. in the end it didn't matter as these fans are not designed to be used in any case (requires clearance between mounting tabs). I cut some rubber washers from the old inner tube to try to isolate the fans from the frame. I'm not sure if this helped anyone. You work quietly. Nothing but air can be heard. As for the screws used. These are SCREWS that have a slotted end to screw into the plastic holes in the fan tabs. You can get away with just using one to thread. Pretty simple build. Side covers (on both sides) removed. A full-size, old-style AZZA game box. He removed the top plastic cover and tossed it aside. Found where the fan connectors are. solve them. All cables on the right side under the motherboard. Remove and pull out the 4 screws holding each fan. The extra cables/connectors that come with these fans make it easy to connect. Installed the new fans with rubber washers and made sure the wires went through the connectors. . Glue the connections to make sure they stay that way. After reviewing the "material" remaining in the computer. I gave it some power to make sure the fans were working. Back with lid. i play again No emergency noise. large gaming computer used for surfing. There were some "strange" 120mm clear plastic fans front and rear that sounded like a Model T starting up. Until they warmed up and got quieter. This computer's regular hard drive tended to get too warm. In the summer, the temperature sometimes exceeded 100 F (upper limit of reliability?). They were mounted in front.2 instead of the original. It's running much cooler now, around 10 degrees Fahrenheit. One of the loud guys is sitting in the back. It makes a little noise until it warms up. I use the free program Speedfan to monitor various temperatures and check driving conditions.
