When I first bought this solar panel I wasn't sure if they sent me the right one because the instructions didn't list it for Ring 3 in an email , assuring me that the instructions hadn't been updated when they shipped my panel. After doing all sorts of tests with the wire ring (which for some reason shut down while the solar array was on). After the company finally sent me a new cable, which btw was the same cable as originally sent, the solar panel worked beautifully when I moved the ring closer to the door and my wifi and was unwired. Works best with battery. Until he went offline in 7 days. The solar panel keeps my Ring 3 at 97-100% all the time. The sun shines all day long from morning to sunset. Since it's not a Ring product and it's a lot cheaper, it won't be recognized in the Ring app, but it will show that the battery health is working fine.
