Review on 🌊 Full Throttle Purple Women's Hinged Rapid-Dry Flex-Back Life Vest by Klassic Duncan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good looking but too tight

My bust is 35" at the widest part, I chose a medium size because other vest (unisex) big sizes are too big and size S/M (32" - 40") ), which I like best, requires as tight an adjustment as possible and even then it feels too loose. This size on paper is the same as other vests (M = 36" - 40"), however, medium is too narrow in this case. So I measured this point where my chest touches and it barely reaches 34 inches (see photo), although it stretches a bit. it makes me look more affluent, than I really am but it's not the look I want!A full zip makes it almost uncomfortable to breathe but seems to get easier after a while. For some reason I thought it fit okay when I first got it Tried but I wish I could find out that it wasn't and sent it back and tried it out big. Maybe try the big or male big (red). The reviews there seem to reflect women's small fit, so I'd also pay attention to the letter M. Another note: they are slightly shorter than some traditional waistcoats. It's handy for movement and for shorter people, but if you have a long torso like me (5'8", long torso, short legs) it might feel a bit odd and more open or not as secure at first. Like it ).Colors are as pictured.Fits easily in a paddleboard harness and folds up when needed.I was talking about 3 or 4 stars.3 stars for size,4-5 for looks and functionality. While a tighter fit even with Seems common to some other brands it just isn't accurate Update - I bought a new Stearns Hydropene from Walmart which is made exactly like my old one except it has a bow tie.Had to carry a lot too.The rise is medium similar (too tight) although it should fit 36-40" tall. My older Stearns are S/M (32-40") and almost big.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
