Holds securely

I drive about 50 km to work, mostly at motorway speed. It was excruciating loading and unloading my saddlebags with my laptop and other work items. So I tried them tying my backpack to the back seat with too much crap. For the first few rides I kept fumbling around to make sure the backpack was still there, but after about 30 rides the bag wasn't moving at all. I could just carry a backpack, but I don't like carrying it on my back and moving about, especially in the Texas heat. I only removed the star because the hooks come off the net too easily. Not when it's on, but when I unzip the mesh and put it in my saddlebag. I was coming into the garage from work or home and noticed snags on the floor. Now that I've done this a few times, I'll probably curl the hooks a bit to keep them in place. The good thing is that it can be adjusted where you put the hooks - I sometimes ride my rugby bag that needs more hooks in the corners. So I think they should be detachable but not fall off when I fold them for storage.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Operating speed
