I have an 18 month old grandson who has trouble getting blocks into holes. He prefers to just lug it around. ;) However, when he does this, once inside, the pieces seem to fall out very easily. The thread has no "end", no knot or anything to catch on or prevent the thread from unraveling. I've tied the knot, but I'll look for a handle to attach to it. I imagine it will be useful for some time as he develops the knack of putting blocks in the appropriate holes and until then he can lug them around ;) It's well made, slim and I couldn't find any flaws, except for the lack of a handle for the cord. The blocks are smooth and well colored. I have not found any splinter hazard on either the blocks or the block itself.
