I bought this lamp as a backlight for my desk. I use it occasionally and it has never let me down. The battery lasts a very long time and shines well. The light is balanced and not too bright. The light can be attached to metal surfaces as it has built-in magnets, so installation is very easy. If the surface is not metal, you can use the included mounting plate (metal plate with double-sided tape), which allows you to easily attach and detach the flashlight for charging. No screws required! I haven't used the motion detection feature, but I've tested it and it seems accurate and fast. I am very surprised by the quality of these lamps.
