Sure, you can spend over $1,000 on multiple monitors that match the iMac's Retina Display PPI, but if you're not an avid gamer or designer and just want a monitor that still keeps text sharp, this is perfect and inexpensive. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 was the stand and the monitor port which wobbles even on low settings. Even with intensive typing, you can clearly see how the monitor shakes, but this can be remedied if you pay attention to the details. Excellent purchase!
