After three times light use outdoors, this rescue blanket has two small holes the size of a pencil. I was under the impression that this emergency blanket would be much stronger than regular emergency blankets and seemed to hold up for the most part. But now I have holes and I don't recall the ceiling being stressed enough to cause holes to form. On a warm note, it was quieter than a typical rescue blanket, but not so much that I noticed a difference. Using it as the only travel blanket was a bad idea. Overall it seems like this could be a better alternative to the regular emergency blanket, but for now I'll go ahead and explore other options.
