Review on NuMax SFN64: Lightweight 🔨 Pneumatic Nail Gun with Ergonomic Design by Agustin Bush

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well built high quality nail gun.

I bought this in February 2016 and have hammered several thousand nails of various lengths. I had a bug in the beginning but it was easy to fix and has been working fine ever since except for this weekend. The gun worked perfectly and when suddenly it was impossible to catch another nail in the bolt. The point driving the nail did not move back into the driver far enough to clear the way for the next nail. In short, these pneumatic nailers need regular lubrication. I heard about it for the first time. I bought a 4 ounce bottle of DeWalt Pneumatic Fastening Tool Lube from a big box nearby for about $3 and a few drops in the nozzle inlet did the trick. The last hundred or so nails were driven normally. I assume all of these tools use the same base oil, if anyone is smarter please post a comment. Very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend it. If you're a carpenter and these tools are your life, there are sure to be better tools out there that are worth the extra cost. But for just about anything anyone wants to do around the house, even fairly intensive rare projects, this tool should work just fine.
