Review on 🔮 Schylling CTK Classic Tin Kaleidoscope: Timeless Wonder Transformed by David Schweigert

Would have gotten four stars but the two I bought were carelessly packed and damaged each other in transit. One was badly dented (picture below) and the other one looks fine but the glue between the spinning cylinder and the bead case has broken. I think I can fix the latter but the other is the loss as the dented part bends when pressed and forms sharp edges unsuitable for a 3 year old. This would be a good product if they didn't treat them like crap when they send them to you. Wrapping each one in a piece of old newsprint would avoid the dilemma of whether to seriously send it back or just not bother getting a new one. Update: After contacting Revain about the issue, they sent me two free replacement units. . They were well packaged and in good condition. The kaleidoscopes aren't bad considering the price, but could do with a more varied selection of beads. I'm sure my nephews will love them.
