Updated review: Upon opening the second pack, my initial feeling went from "it's not the best but it's ok" to "it's not worth the price" . The shelves in the second pack were even worse finished than the first, the wood had dents, a very rough texture and several chips where the texture had torn. -- Original Review -- The features are exactly what I expected from the product. photos and description. The walnut finish matches the color exactly, but the overall consistency and quality of the finish is less than I expected based on the photos. I think it's better described with reclaimed barnwood finishes. And that's a good thing, too, because this shelving style is definitely industrial-rustic. Just note that there are lots of knots, undyed grain streaks, frayed/unstained edges. During assembly I found that I preferred the planed and unpainted underside of the shelves to the intended top. So I'm going to start over and just put them on backwards.
