Perfect fit and worked on my 2006 Yukon 1500 Slt. Will be updated if/when it goes down. The buttons look brand new which leads me to believe this is a brand new device. The light works. The delivery was super fast. It cost me $15 instead of $97.99 at my local parts store. At the time of writing this review I was having winter so hopefully this will resolve all my issues. It only took me 5 minutes to install and that's only because I did it in the dark. Just remove the panel from the console. You need to lower the steering wheel all the way and lower the shifter all the way to remove it completely. Apply the emergency brake. Then there are a couple of tabs that you have to pry up a bit to get the old block out. You can do all this without tools, but I used a few picks I had lying around. Next, disconnect the two connectors. Then plug the new block into the connectors, slide it into the dash, plug the faceplate back in, and you're done.
