I don't have a child but I have a German Shepherd who is too smart for himself. She figured out how to open the doors of all our bedrooms and kitchen cabinets so of course we have about 7 kids doors in the house. It's not the prettiest goal I have, but I really like it because of a few features. The gates open in both directions. This might seem silly if you've never had a Babygate, but it's huge. This gives you more freedom, especially when you're carrying something.2 It closes automatically. It was great for my husband who forgets/ prefers not to close it when he comes back soon. The gate stays open when you open it about 90 degrees. I was a little worried about this gate because when I'm in a room I love that our dogs can come and go and I was worried it might not work but it does! Overall, I'm very happy with these goals. !
