Review on Canon Wireless MegaTank Function SuperTank by Kendro Givens

Updated January 2021 - just over a year since purchase, almost 6,000 pages. The first of the two supplied bottles still had about 20% black. This leaves about 50% cyan, 60% magenta, and yellow. About 15 pages per day on average. A few minor paper jams to report. My only complaint about this printer is the lack of a backlight on the LCD. Update June 2020 - 3 months and almost 2000 pages later I still have 70% or more black plus another bottle that came with the printer. About 80% cyan and magenta/yellow is still about 90%. Wonderful. With daily personal use (average of 22 pages per day) there are no problems to report. Original Review ------------------ If you want to reduce your printing costs, add to cart. I spent over $500 on crappy little $150 ink cartridges in the 18 months before I bought it. Furious I invested in this G5020 in January 2020. In the almost 2 months since then my printing needs have not decreased but I still have around 85% of the original ink fill PLUS 2 more bottles of black ink. This purchase easily pays for itself in less than a year. It's also nice to find a decent quality printer without overpaying for all the other 'features' - scanner, fax. We have smartphones for that, right?! Build quality is good, print quality is good enough for office/school use (don't expect your photos to look amazing on standard or even specialty inkjet paper, although I haven't tested it at max settings in real life). photo paper).
