The color is a beautiful melange plum, it is difficult to find such socks in pleasant colors. The quality is very good, they are still worn. I actually bought her the largest men's pair first as I thought it would be roomier but these fit better and don't vary much in size. We both have larger calves and this brand fits well and doesn't dig into the skin. Even when I was a skinny kid most socks were too tight when they went down to my ankles and it always puzzled me that socks had the same circumference at the top and bottom because most people don't have curly legs. Tried Sockwell lightweight compression socks. I fell in love with this brand and bought my mum some of their comfy socks and she loves them all. I have to get them, I'm jealous!
