very much. If I start them up at the end of summer they will last all year until the heat rises and hits 90+ degrees. Under the influence of heat, the oils escape from the transparent part of the acoustic tube, which prevents the passage of sound to the listener. This is solved by replacing the acoustic tube or cleaning the oil with a paper towel folded into a very thin tip.
