There was a fire in our house that started from my bed while I was sleeping in it. My roommate woke me up in a panic. I grabbed two things since my house was full of smoke, I grabbed the outside of the house and this mask and filter. I couldn't breathe indoors to put out the fire without some kind of mask and this mask allowed me to breathe normally while putting out the fire. After that I changed the filters because they were completely clogged with dirt that would otherwise have gotten into my lungs. I didn't even smell the smoke through the mask and gas filters. I can't thank you enough 3M!
