I put this in and it's like a new computer again

I've tried everything to get my mid 2010 iMac to run faster again. I moved almost everything off the hard drive, did a full reinstall and software cleanup. Nothing really worked. Then I plug it in and it's like a new computer again. I can not believe that. Photoshop used to be so slow and lagged behind. Now I can't even work fast enough to skip the program. Highly recommended. The only gripe would be the installation guide that came with it, but it wasn't hard to find online.
