Excellent Aries. new life for my macbook pro early 2008

This was not found on my macbook pro early 2008, my macbook was slowing down than it had 2gb ram. I'm in the process of returning the memory kit. Then I decided to reinstall OSX and upgrade to Yosemite with that 4GB of RAM, and voila! It has breathed new life into my MacBook Pro. Now in Yosemite it works faster. I believe there is something wrong with my previous Mavericks in my MacBook causing no RAM to be recognized, which a reinstall in Yosemite fixes. Thanks for the great lamb! I recommended.
