There are many bad reviews complaining about this bit breaking. Where the bearing is, the diameter is only about 1/8th because the bearing needs to be flush with the cutting edge. Of course it will break if you press hard on hard wood like other reviewers have said. Using the right tool for the right job is amazing. I use it to fit futures fins into surfboard blanks. Need a cutter according to the template for cutting polyurethane foam less than 1/2 in diameter. This drill works amazing. I never expected this small piece of African ironwood to cut through, but if you have a general understanding of material stress then this bit will exceed all expectations.
