Review on ๐Ÿพ Coppthinktu Cat Recovery Suit for Abdominal Wounds or Skin Diseases - Enhanced Breathable Surgical Recovery Suit for Cats - E-Collar Alternative Post-Surgery Wear - Prevents Licking Wounds Effectively by Jermaine Fleming

Much better than a cone.

My cat doesn't tolerate an electronic collar ("sharp cone"). She tolerates it very well. She completely closed the incision after abdominal surgery (removal of stones from the bladder) and allowed her to use the tray. After bladder stone removal, the cat cannot control the bladder well for several days after the surgery. It gets a little wet from the constant "leakage" (when lying down etc) so it's nice to have more than one to rotate while one is being washed. (Also take some exercise pads or pads and a playpen to accommodate them.) In the past we have used a zip-up baby/onesie (dressed upside down and modified closer to the cat's butt) which also works well has, but this one was not needed at all.sew/modify. It fits well and I would say it's a little on the small side. We have a large for my 9lb/cute little cat. It was neat but the length was right. I think XL would be too long for my little cat. I've never worried about her running away (which she sometimes did with a jumpsuit). It's a bit trickier than jumpsuits because you have to thread it through the holes over your head and legs (instead of snapping it around them), but it keeps you inside.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Almost everything ok
