Not insulating enough
I really wanted to love this product. Many of my sewing friends have raved about wool pressing mats. Maybe the more expensive ones work great, but this one definitely let's the heat and moisture through to underneath. My cutting mat warped and was noticably damp after doing some ironing. It's a nice sturdy surface but needs a safe space under, which is disappointing since I sew in a small area.
- Great size for ironing smaller sewing projects. Holds the heat and makes ironing faster.
- The pads may not provide enough traction for some users
