Wow, quite high for me. My issue with the Ford Escape is that the shorter cup holder brackets place the phone even with the gear stick and you can't shift properly because the gear stick is blocked by the installed phone. This is because of where the cup holder is in relation to the switch. This element is the perfect height, lifting the phone way above the switch. Durable, made of plastic, easy to adjust. Everything is perfect. I replaced the actual phone mount with the iOttie Qi charger mount and now I have a Qi charging cradle phone mount that is the perfect height and is not a very expensive mod 😃
