Review on πŸ”’ Usongshine Filament: Ensuring Tangle-Free Operations and Dimensional Accuracy by Lance Harrison

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality prints. *Please note the change in this review

This (white) filament produces extremely clean prints that require minimal cleaning. Adhesion to the building surface is excellent; numerous impressions and absolutely no adhesion failure. The corners are beautifully crisp and the transitions from one to the other are extremely smooth. There doesn't seem to be a problem getting burrs or other complex shapes. When you need a quality yarn for almost any task, this is it. Edit * I received the same brand of filament but in blue. Not the blue you see in the puzzle cube images. The blue I see here is the image of the Sar Wars cookie cutters. First, the box was damaged upon arrival, as if it had been thrown from one end of the camp to the other. I'm very surprised that the roll and vacuum bag didn't get damaged either. Secondly, despite the fact that the color is rich and bright, this blue color does not blend well with its white counterpart. This worked well when the print was wide, but as it got narrower the layers broke adhesion and created the threading effect on the print. I tried to fix this situation by reducing the print speed and adjusting the layer height. That does not work. I really like this product as the white worked so well and while the white gets a well deserved 5 stars this blue is a solid 2. The price is good and if you can make it work then it's a good deal but I would recommend looking at it for another brand.
