Lightweight player, easy to connect. Housing made of very light plastic. It is compatible with all different formats like: JPEG, Audio, MP3, CD, CD-DA, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, DVD+R, DVD+RW, MPEG-4. Blue Ray does not play. The box has all the connections, an HDMI cable and a remote control. Batteries were not included so be sure to bring 2 triple fives. The picture quality is very good. The player itself makes a small noise when reading the disc. My Sony DVD player does that too. The player is programmed in 8 different languages. I stream a lot of shows, but for all the classics I need a DVD player. I liked the first show on "Pink Floyd, The Wall" player. Try to find this thread.
