Shown is a Sigma 35mm 1.2 on an A7RII. Next to it is a Zeiss Batis 18. So yes, it's huge for a 35mm lens. Autofocus is fast and accurate, and works well with Eye AF. Soft bokeh as you would expect from a 35mm focal length. The sharpness is just amazing, especially in the center at f1.2. With the exception of landscapes at infinity with detail across the frame to the corners, the only reason to ever stop this lens is to control depth of field. Any f-stop from f/1.2 to f/16 is more than sharp enough at the point of focus, even on the demanding A7RII sensor. There is some field curvature, hence the limitation for landscapes at infinity. Tests on my specimen showed that f4 is required to achieve excellent sharpness on every pixel when focused at infinity, with near-perfect sharpness across the entire sensor at f5.6. Also good glare resistance. But look at this thing, it's a gun, heavy. and big. You really must want the best performance from a 35mm e-mount to be carrying this thing around as part of a premium kit.
