Works perfectly ! suitable for scanners

First . was a real pain to use. The scanner driver kept crashing. It can even cause Adobe Acrobat to hang when creating a PDF file from a scanner. Very annoying and almost useless. We have several previous models and they never had such problems. BUT. Canon has released new Windows drivers for this. And the updates fixed everything! This is now our favorite scanner. Fast and easy to use. I strongly recommend that you download the latest drivers from Canon before even trying this scanner. The drivers on the CD that came with the scanner contain errors.
