Extremely useful and easy to use!

We use Fujitsu fi-6130Z scanners quite a lot in our shop, but I've always been at a loss when looking for a good network scanner solution. We tried using All-in-One; But they just couldn't handle the volume and broke down pretty quickly, and dedicated network scanners cost a few thousand and still didn't work as well as Fujitsu's desktop scanners. Needless to say, when I (almost by accident) came across this little device, I immediately thought of setting up a generic scanner with it. Let me just say this was finally the perfect solution I was looking for! It sounded too good to be true so I was a little nervous; but the installation was actually as easy as advertised. I connected it to the network, installed the drivers on a Windows 8 PC, then plugged in the Fujitsu scanner in a shared location and it worked. I was still a bit skeptical that anything would break, but it hasn't been a single failure in weeks so I'm absolutely sure! Now we can just go to the shared scanner, select the scanning function and click the send button - and it will fly through the pages as if it were plugged directly into the desktop. Files are placed on a shared network folder so anyone can access them, giving it more features than many network scanners at a fraction of the cost. If you're looking for an easy way to connect a USB device to your network, then I highly recommend this little device! As a side note, keep in mind that this connects a PC to a USB device over the network - just what we were looking for. If you want to connect a single USB device to multiple PCs, something like this won't work without a lot more user management.
