Review on 🍲 Cuisinart 13-Piece Cast Iron Fondue Set in Elegant White: Perfect for Entertaining and Indulging by Juzer Rashid

This is probably the fondue pot for you if you want the European feel of an artisanal, traditional fondue. It cannot be seen in the photo, but the red enamel pot is strong and shiny. The stainless steel stand is well built, if not exactly traditional. The alcohol burner can be used with both methanol (wood alcohol) and Heck. So far I've only used it with methanol, which I found easily at the hardware store. (I believe Sterno is a gelled methanol to prevent spills.) The burner itself is functional but cheaply made. It appears to be stamped stainless steel; some ridges are present. About what you would expect from a $36 fondue pot. However, the pot, forks, and stand are all excellent for the $36 price point. I tried it for cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. The amount of heat from the burner is just right. (The heat coming from the burner can be easily adjusted by turning the knob to add more or less air to the burning fuel.) If you need the convenience of an electric fondue pot, look elsewhere (and maybe just use a slow cooker ?) . But if you want a fabulous fondue pot for your family or maybe hosting a fondue party then this is the best choice.
