I've been used to ready Schwinn bikes at CycleBar. They have fancy LCD screens that tell you RPMs, distance, speed, and gear strength. If this bike has a downfall it's the screen. It's very simple. For myself, though, I knew I didn't want to spend the $800 or more dollars to get an LCD screen like that. So I tried to find the best bike for my price range. Overall, I'm really happy with this bike. It's a little squeaky at times during the ride. I do miss knowing what gear number I'm on and I do feel like the resistance is a bit weaker than the gym quality bike I've been used to. The bottomline is that, if you're looking for a good workout without breaking the bank, this is a great option. Does it have all the bells and whistles? No. But it does get the job done!
