Review on Mountain Warehouse Womens Walking Shoes by Daniel Smith

Revainrating 2 out of 5

UPDATE 6/18/2019: On Athletic

While I was initially impressed with these shoes, after just a few months I am very disappointed. They are no longer waterproof. The packaging recommends adding an extra waterproofing agent to the shoes, which I have yet to do. For the price, they were comfortable and inherently waterproof. I walk 4 miles around our property every day. I bought them mainly for walks in the dew pasture. At first they were great for this, but gradually I noticed that the toes of my socks were getting wet. Also, the sole of the left boot broke, allowing moisture, dirt, and small rocks/pebbles to get into the rubber. Then I have to stop and dig periodically because it hurts me to walk for miles on a rock. I'm giving them an updated two star rating because they can work for people who don't run as much as I do. I think you only get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Big and Bulky
