To help clarify sizing. I'm 5'7 180#. I like my clothes on the loose size. Usually I wear a size 12 to 14 (depending on style). I bought a size 16 (due to reviews to size up & may shrink during washing/drying). I wish I would of bought a size 14. A bit too loose above hips, way too baggy at crotch, a bit too loose around thighs and longer than I hoped for. I'm too lazy too return them for a size 14, yet worried if I bought a size 14 they would shrink too much (during wash/dry). So, hoping they will shrink nicely during wash/dry. The quality seems nice and cotton fabric is medium strength yet soft. I do like the comfort and style of location of pockets on these pants. Deep hip pockets and big enough thigh pockets to hold dog walking supplies. Rear pockets very happy with. Hope this helps.
