These eyeglass holders have long chains which are nice and don't seem to snag on clothing. However, this style with the clip to attach the holder to the frame is made for THIN frames and not thick plastic frames. I tried using the clip-on style on a pair of plastic frames that are approx. 8 mm wide and they did not hold securely and became detached. However, on 3 mm - 5 mm metal frames they hold quite securely. This problem with slippage on wider plastic frames could be alleviated if the mfg. would simply use a LARGER clip. I would appreciate this as I like the clip-on style very much and would like to be able to wear it on my plastic framed glasses - not just thin metal frames.
